It's nearly ten years old now but is still a fun way to pass the time with friends, provided you don't have a PC to play it on instead. To unlock the game setup, 'The Full Wormage' (all weapons including super weapons), here is what you must do: Get a gold on all six training missions. The DC version has all those same sounds, but applies them all to every team currently battling. This is where the PC version is superior because each individual team can speak from a different set of sounds. The sound quality is good, explosions sound rough, and the worm comments are funny for a time. The graphics in the game are very animated and fluid, with some minor slowdown sprinkled throughout the experience. Having said that, the Dreamcast version of this game comes very close to the PC counterpart and is a worthy experience alone or with friends. Out of all the versions I believe the PC version is superior due to its ability to customize teams with a bit more detail. Armageddon has come out on several different systems including the PC and the Playstation.

The battlefields feature all kinds of themes, from junkyards to bomb shelters. Since the game is turn-based you can have four players share one controller. There is also a multi-player mode for up to four players to battle it out with customized teams of worms. One player can take on AI-controlled teams in a deathmatch or through 30 missions. Worms: Armageddon pits squads of well-armed, wiggly worms in a fight to the death on 2D, fully destructible battlefields.
The third game in the Worms series is the first for the Dreamcast.
